Melanie Clemmey

Melanie Clemmey is a co-founder and consultant with Telos Consulting and collaborates on projects requiring strategy, project management, research, design or landscape skills.  Telos works to enable not for profits to increase their impact by delivering sustainable change.

Melanie is a Chartered Accountant and Landscape Architect. She qualified as an accountant with Haines Watts working with a variety of owner managed businesses, then went on to take up a financial controller position with a media company and run her own consultancy business.  After a short career break, she qualified as a garden designer and built up a successful design business managing a range of design projects from private gardens to schools and estates. She was the Managing Director of a retail start-up in the garden sector which was later developed and sold as an internet business.

Melanie completed her Masters degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire, graduating with a distinction and was Highly Commended by the Landscape Institute in their 2015 annual awards.  She has continued her research at postgraduate level, and co-organised an annual interdisciplinary conference.  Her experience in finance, project management, business growth, design development, strategic problem solving, and empirical research enables her to combine creativity and rigour in her consultancy work for Telos Consulting.
